We Want You To Win

Once you are presented to a hiring manager, it is essential that you let the recruiter do his/her job. This means your role is to be patient and wait for your recruiter's coaching. Be prepared for an interview at short notice.

Once an interview is scheduled, you can expect us to spend some extra time with you on the phone to prep you for the meeting. We do our best to inform you of who you will be meeting with, interviewing tips and some basics of the company. Take the instructions seriously. The reason we are taking the time to mention them to you is that we have experienced others failing in these areas costing them a great opportunity. We do expect you to spend some time on your own, either at the library or on the Internet researching the particular company you will be meeting with. Employers notice when you are prepared.

When the interview is concluded, your recruiter needs to hear from you. If circumstances permit, call within the hour after the interview, no matter how you feel how it went. It helps us greatly to talk and debrief with you before we talk with the client company. If it takes us days to get in touch with you after the interview, it could jeopardize your chances of getting the job.

Be honest. Let us know how it really went and your impressions. We want to know your concerns, apprehensions, excitement, questions, etc. Again, confidentiality is respected here.

Realize that some companies have a very long hiring process, are involved in a merger, or are interrupted by holidays and vacations. Therefore, it could be weeks or even months before final decisions are made. It is essential not to interpret this as disinterest by the employer. We at Management Recruiters of Flagstaff realize that waiting is very difficult and do a thorough job of keeping you up to date. Never contact the client company yourself unless instructed to do so by your recruiter, and never submit your resume directly to the client company.

Remember that this is a fact-finding mission for both you and the client company. If there is no match between you and the company, learn from the experience and we will try to fit you with another opportunity.

Have fun and enjoy!
